The weather might tell a different story, but Oswego's big summer kick-off event, Wine on the Fox, is just a few days away.

Scheduled for Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4, the event will include 20 regional wineries, including Oswego's own Fox Valley Winery. Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Due to flooding last year's event was moved from Hudson Crossing Park to the grounds of Village Hall at Routes 31 and 34. The event will take place there again this year.

Wine tasting costs $15 for a souvenir glass and five tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets cost $1 each. Advanced weekend passes can be purchased at Village Hall for $25 and include 10 tasting tickets per day. Advanced passes are non-refundable.

The following wineries will be in attendance this year:

  • 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. – The Next Level
