Sep 30, 2014 03:59PM, Published by Steven Jack, Categories: News, Police

The Oswego Police Department would like to inform the public of parking locations, alternative transportation and travel routes for the Cross Town football game October 3rd, 2014 being held at Oswego East High School.

Parking will be available in the East and West lots of Oswego East High School until they are full. Signage on Wolf and Harvey will inform the public when the lots are full. Remote parking locations and shuttles will be available at the Bednarcik and Plank Junior High parking lots. Expanded handicapped parking will be available in the lot of OEHS.

The Oswego School District 308 will provide bus transportation from remote parking lots at Plank Junior High School and Bednarcik Junior High School. The service will begin at 5:00 p.m. with drop off at the North gate of stadium. Bus service back to the remote lots will be available at the conclusion of the game.

Restricted travel routes after game in the following manner:
   * Fans exiting the East lot of OEHS and parking lot will be allowed to travel North or South on          Harvey.
   * Fans exiting the West lot of OEHS will only be allowed to travel West on Wolfs Crossing.

Oswego Police Officers and Community Service Officers will be located at intersections most affected by the increase in traffic and will assist with traffic control in these areas. In an effort to reduce traffic congestion, all people driving to the event are asked to carpool. Fans are asked to remain patient as the lots are expected to take longer than normal to clear.
