Oswego's annual summer festival PrairieFest returns Father's Day weekend June 18-21. Here's a daily breakdown of the schedule of events. For more information, check out the PrairieFest website. Follow the PraireiFest Facebook page for all the latest updates.

Thursday, June 18

• 3:30 – 5:00pm  Me Too @ PrairieFest
An exceptional afternoon exclusively for exceptional families. Children with special needs and their families are invited to experience a modified carnival. $10 for unlimited ride wristbands
Sponsored by Oswego Tourism Bureau

• 4:30 – 7:30pm  Oswego foundation for Educational excellence barbecue - Castle Bank Event Tent
$12 per plate. Pork chops, chicken, or combination. $5.50 hotdogs for kids. Rain location at OHS cafeteria. Funds benefit Oswegoland schools

• 5:00 – 9:00pm  PrairieFest Expo Village
Hundreds of area crafters and businesses to visit!

• 5:30 – 6:00 pm OEHS spotlight Choir - Main Stage
Oswego East High School’s Vocal Jazz Choir

• 6:00 – 6:30pm voice activated Choir rock acapella - Main Stage
Under the direction of Oswego East High School’s Peter Barsch

• 6:00 – 7:00pm Princesses & Pirates - Children’s Tent
Visit with your favorite pirates and fairy tale princesses.

• 6:00-10 pm Windy City Amusement Carnival
$20 for Unlimited Rides wristband

• 6:30 – 7:30pm Oswego Prairie Winds Concert - Main Stage
Community concert under the direction of Kelly O’Neill and Stevan Rexroat

• 7:00 – 8:30pm Listen Local PrairieFest Open Mic Moment - Children’s Tent
Hear Oswego’s local talent at this open mic opportunity!

• 7:30-8:00pm OHS Step Team - Main Stage
Oswego High School’s nationally acclaimed step team entertains the fest!

• 8:30 – 10pm Sixteen Candles Band - Main Stage
Chicagoland hasn’t been the same since this talented and crazy band started touring festivals & concert venues.  Come sing along to your 80s favorites!

Friday, June 19

Little size kids can meeet BIG-size vehicles! Oswegoland Park District’s As We Grow Preschool

• 10-Noon PrairieFest Planters, Castle Bank Event Tent
Little ones can explore the world of Eric Carle and The Tiny Seed, creating their own planters & planting seeds. Oswegoland Park District’s As We Grow Preschool

• 9:30-11:00am Senior Breakfast bingo

Start at Prairie Point Center and weave through Oswego neighborhoods.  Dry weave t-shirt and ribbons to all athletes. Trophies to first male & female in each division.  Register race day for $35 (5K) or $20 (One Mile) Dogs welcome!
