Man Arrested for Driving 95 MPH on Minkler Road: Police

Retail theft

Amber Lloyd, 23, of Aurora, was arrested for retail theft at about 5 p.m. June 14 at Meijer, according to an Oswego Police report. Lloyd is alleged to have stolen three bottles of alcohol valued at a total of $60, police said. 

Speeding

Luis Ocon, 22, of Montgomery, was arrested for speeding more than 35 mph over the speed limit at about 3:30 a.m. June 15 near Minkler Road and Hunt Club Drive, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Ocon was clocked driving 95 mph in a 45 mph zone.

Domestic battery

Ryan Josh, 35, of Oswego, was arrested for domestic battery at about 3:45 p.m. June 13 in the 300 block of Wolverine Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Battery, Criminal damage

Jim Czenk, 37, of Aurora, and Randy Henning, 40, of Oswego Township were both arrested at about 2:50 a.m. June 12 in the 100 block of Dolphin Court after an altercation. Henning caused damage to Czenk's car and was arrested for criminal damage to property while Czenk was arrested for battery, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. 

Stolen sports equipment

Oswego Police took a report for stolen sports equipment from Oswego East High School at about 12:30 p.m. June 12. The equipment is valued at about $680, police said.

Stolen phone

Oswego Police responded to the Civic Center June 10 for a report of a stolen mobile phone. The phone is phone at about $600, police said.

DUI, Drug Possession

Zachary Booth, 24, of Plainfield, was arrested for DUI, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at about 2:30 a.m. June 9 near Douglas Road and Route 30, according to an Oswego Police report. Passenger Sierra Bonilla, 20, of Oswego, was arrested for possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor, police said. 

Long Beach School damaged

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office reported someone damaged a window on Long Beach Elementary School sometime before 7:10 p.m. June 8.

Domestic battery

Shawn Hines, 34, of Oswego, was arrested for domestic battery and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 10:45 p.m. June 7 in the 200 block of Monroe Street, according to an Oswego Police report. 

DUI

Daniel Nevarez, 26, of Auora, was arrested for DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a one-car accident at about 2 a.m. June 6 near Ogden Falls Boulevard and Raintree, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Bikes stolen

Oswego Police responded to the Civic Center June 6 for a report of a stolen bike. The bike is valued at about $150, police said. Another bike was stolen from the Civic Center on June 10, police said. 

Smashed windshield

A resident of the 2000 block of Light Road, Oswego Township reported her car window was smashed with a brick sometime before 11 a.m. June 6, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Damage was also done to the car's roof and other windows, the sheriff's office said.

Retail theft, alcohol possession

Abigail Clasen, 18, of 400 Hackney Lane, was arrested for retail theft and unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor at about 5:45 p.m. June 5 at the Oswego Walmart, according to an Oswego Police report. Clasen was arrested again two days later at her home for domestic battery, police said.
