Teens Taken to Hospital After Oswego Traffic Accident: Police

Missing medications

A resident in the 700 block of Ferret Crossing reported to Oswego Police that someone stole medications from his vehicle sometime before 9:45 a.m. June 22, according to an Oswego Police report.

DUI

James Gustafson, 44, of Morris, was arrested for DUI, and cited for improper lane use and no auto insurance after a stop at about 11:40 p.m. June 22 along Route 34 near Mason Square Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Counterfeit money passed

The owners of Marcley's Gas Station, 55 Chicago Road, reported to Oswego Police that they received a counterfeit $50 bill sometime before 8 p.m. June 22, according to an Oswego Police report.

Marijuana possession

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at about 11:30 p.m. June 21 in the 0-99 block of Senora, according to an Oswego Police report. He was released to his parents, police said.

Mobile phone stolen at PrairieFest

A resident visiting PrairieFest reported to Oswego Police that a mobile phone was stolen sometime before 9 a.m. June 20. Tracking software on the phone showed it was located in Elgin. The phone is valued at about $250, police said.

DUI

Jeannette Walsh, 48, of Oswego, was arrested for DUI and cited for improper lane usage at about 2:40 a.m. June 20 near Orchard Road and Caterpillar Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Underage drinking at PrairieFest

Timothy Iannantone, 19, of Oswego, was arrested for unlawful consumption of alcohol at about 11:10 p.m. June 19 on the grounds of PrairieFest, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Teens injured in accident

A two-car accident at about 2:10 p.m. June 19 sent three 19-year-olds to Rush-Copley Medical Center. According to an Oswego Police report, a car driven by a 50-year-old Oswego woman ran into the back of the teenagers' car while traveling westbound on Route 34 near Kendall Point Drive. The Oswego woman was not injured, police said.

Disorderly conduct

Joshua Ayres, 22, of the 2000 block of Farmington Lakes Drive, was arrested for disorderly conduct at about 5:30 p.m. June 16 near his home, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Window damaged

Kendall County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a damaged window that was apparently shot out with the use of a slingshot at about 7 p.m. June 19 in the 0-99 block of Eastfield Road, Oswego Township. The shot caused about $400 in damages, the sheriff's office said.

Boat motor stolen

Kendall County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the theft of a boat motor and a can of gas from a home in the 0-99 block of Marina Drive sometime before 6 p.m. June 11. There are no suspects in the case, deputies said.
