Woman Hospitalized, Charged with DUI After Roll-Over Crash on Route 126: Police
DUI charged after serious accident
A Plainfield woman was seriously injured at about 4 a.m. July 12 after a single-vehicle accident near Route 126 and Schlapp Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Lizzette Miller, 23, was allegedly driving drunk on westbound Route 126 when her car went off the road, struck a culvert and rolled over, the sheriff's office said. She was charged with DUI, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no proof of insurance.
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating a criminal damage to property report in which two cars in the 100 block of Amesbury Road were damage sometime before 4:30 a.m. July 12. Damage to each car was estimated at $1,600, the sheriff's office said.
Criminal damage to property
Samantha Marinelarena, 24, of Romeoville, was arrested for criminal damage to property at about 3:30 a.m. July 12 in the 300 block of Judith Circle, according to an Oswego Police report.
Woman Hospitalized after accident
A 20-year-old Plainfield woman was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center at about 3:20 p.m. July 11 after skidding into oncoming traffic near Rance and Stewart roads in Oswego Township, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Hannah Lobas was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after swerving to avoid a car that had stopped suddenly in front of her, the sheriff's office said.
Stephanie Hauer, 21, of 2004 Farmington Lakes Drive, was arrested for retail theft at about 8:10 p.m. July 10 at the Oswego Walmart, according to an Oswego Police report. Two other people she was with were also arrested on several charges. Jacqueline Larrison, 24, of Aurora, was arrested for retail theft, obstructing police, aggravated battery and possession of a controlled substance. Joel Johnson, 22, also of Aurora, was arrested for retail theft, forgery and obstructing identification, police said.
A resident in the 500 block of Crystal Court reported to Oswego Police that someone broke into the home sometime between May 25 and July 9 and stole two shotguns. There are no suspects in the case, police said.
Computer, cash theft
The owner of a trailer at Hide-Away-Lakes Campground reported the theft of a computer and cash sometime before 10 a.m. July 9, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
Curfew violation for juvenile
A runaway juvenile was cited for curfew violation at about 1:40 a.m. July 9 in the 0-99 block of West Anchor Drive, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
Stephanie Longmire, 24 of the 5200 block of Douglas Road, was arrested for domestic battery at about 11:35 p.m. July 8 at her home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
A resident in the 300 block of Essex Avenue reported to police that someone damaged a window of their vehicle with a BB sometime before noon July 8, according to an Oswego Police report. About $200 in damages were done, police said.
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating several thefts to trailers at Hide-Away-Lakes Campgrounds sometime before 6:30 p.m. July 7. Forced entry was made to the trailers and several items of electronics were taken, the sheriff's office said.
Burglary to vehicle
A Yorkville resident who had his car parked in the 5000 block of Danielle Lane in Oswego Township had it broken into sometime before 5 a.m. July 6, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
Skyler Kroll, 18, of Aurora, was arrested for retail theft and underage alcohol possession at about 9 p.m. July 6 at the Oswego Walmart, according to an Oswego Police report.
Oswego Police took a report for damage done to Chesterfield Park sometime before July 6. According to police, park equipment was spray-painted with graffiti.
The Oswego TJ Maxx store reported that someone stole several purses from the store at about 1:50 p.m. July 6, according to an Oswego Police report. The store was robbed of purses again at about 4 p.m. July 9, police said.
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating several thefts from unlocked vehicles and garages in the Daniel and Audrey lanes and Thornhill Court areas of Kendall Township. The burglaries occurred between July 5 and 6, and items taken include wallets, cologne and tools.
Golf cart theft
A 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy, both from Montgomery, were arrested for possession of stolen property in the theft of a golf cart that occurred on July 4 in the 0-99 block of Park Lane in Bristol Township, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. The boys were also arrested for unlawful use of a weapon, the sheriff's office said.
