Man Charged with Illegal Possession of Ammunition After Traffic Stop

A Boulder Hill man was was charged with unlawful possession of firearm ammunition after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies saw him roll through a stop sign at about 10:15 p.m. March 17 at Light Road and Anchor Drive, according to sheriff’s reports. 

Mark Coziar, 20, of the 0-99 block of Sedgwick Road, was found to be in the possession of the bullets without a Firearms Owners Identification card after a search of his vehicle, the sheriff’s office said. 

Coziar’s passenger, Marco Sanchez, 21, of Aurora was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and less than 2.5 grams of marijuana, according to the report. 

Coziar was also cited for driving without a rear registration light, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without a license, the report said. 

Both men were released from custody after posting bond and are due in court April 10.
