Two Men in Custody After Monday Night Armed Robbery

Montgomery Police aren't yet releasing the name of two men who robbed the Douglas Road Family Dollar store at gun-point at about 9 p.m. Monday, according to a Beacon-News report.

The two men are in custody after leading police from Oswego, Montgomery, Aurora and Kane County on a foot-chase that lasted for about an hour through a residential area near the store at Douglas and Montgomery roads.

Police scanner reports indicated that the two men were identified by an eye-witness on the scene. A handgun, mask and other evidence also were found, the Beacon reported.
