Oswego Man Facing Charges of Sexually Abusing Children: Sheriff

An Oswego man sits in the Kendall County Jail on $800,000 bond, and is facing 10 counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department.
Jasen Phipps, 32, was taken into custody May 2 after allegations that he sexually assaulted a 9-year-old family member and a 6-year-old acquaintance around July 9 of last year.
The assault of the 9-year-old is alleged to have taken place in the 1500 block of Light Road and the other incident occurred in Plano, the sheriff’s office said.
Phipps will appear next before a judge at 9 a.m. June 2.
