Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 200 block of Boulder Hill Pass at about 5:25 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a battery.

Upon arrival it was reported that two boys, one 10 and one 8, were involved in an altercation. It was alleged that the 10-year-old boy body-slammed the younger child and tried choking him with a cord, the sheriff’s office said.

The two boys are related said sheriff spokesman Deputy Bryan Harl.

The incident is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time. Harl said there were no signs of injury on either child and differing accounts were given of the incident.
