Allied First Bank has awarded $20,000.00 in scholarships to students at Oswego High School
and Oswego East High School again this year. This marks the eighth year of the awards totaling
Twenty $1,000 scholarship winners were chosen by a committee consisting of administrators,
teachers and coaches at each high school for their outstanding scholastic and extra curricular
performance. Two scholarships were awarded in each of the following five categories at both
high schools: General Academic, Athletics, Career & Technology, Performing Arts and Visual
Arts. One male & one female were awarded a scholarship in each category. The winners were
awarded at the Senior Awards Nights.
At Oswego High School, the winners of the Athletic scholarships were Alec Cepeda and
Marissa Ashner. The Career and Technology scholarships were awarded to Tyler Thevenot and
Lisa Fauber. Alex Feltes and Iva Veseli took home the General Academic scholarships. The
Performing Arts scholarship was given to Nathan Krumholz and Katherine Meyer. Finally, The
Visual Arts scholarship was presented to Christopher Ward and Desiree Nygaard.
At Oswego East High School, the winners of the Athletic scholarships were Keagan Griffin and
Nelly Casas. The Career and Technology scholarships were awarded to Beau Bruecher and
Keanna Avery. Brandon Love and Alyssa Kleinhardt won the General Academic scholarships.
The Performing Arts scholarship was given to Greg Newman and Katherine Ewalt. Finally, The
Visual Arts scholarship was presented to Jonah Sunderland and Caitlyn Santos.
