An Oswego man is facing drug trafficking charges after an investigation yielded more than 12 pounds of marijuana stashed at his home in the 300 block of Cascade Lane, according to Kendall County court records.
Darren Smith, 47, has been charged with marijuana trafficking and possession with the intent to deliver. Both are Class X felonies.
Police raided Smith's home May 15 after being alerted by DuPage County Metropolitan Enforcement Group officers to the possibility that Smith had brought the marijuana to Oswego from Colorado, according to a report from the Aurora Beacon News.
Smith's bail was set at $250,000, the Beacon reported.
