Two-Car Accident Leads to Drug Charges

An 18-year-old Aurora woman is facing drug charges after causing a two-car crash Thursday night along Plainfield Road, Oswego Police said.

Regan Borg, of the 500 block of Constitution Drive, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at about 8:20 p.m. Thursday after the crash at Plainfield Road and Templeton Drive, police said. 

Borg was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for her injuries. A passenger in the other vehicle, a 49-year-old Yorkville woman, was also taken to the hospital, police said.

Borg was given a June 16 court date.
