Vandals Target School Yet Again

May 29, 2014 07:27AM ● Published by Steven Jack

Oswego Police and firefighters again responded to Fox Chase Elementary School early Thursday morning for a report of a fire.

Police were called to the school at about 12:20 a.m. for a report of a Dumpster that was set on fire. The Dumpster did sustain damages, but no one was injured, police said.

This makes the fourth time in recent weeks that police have been called to the school. Most recently vandals set fire to a portable toilet near the school at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police also were called to the school May 11 for a report of garbage cans set on fire. A similar fire was set at the school a few days before that, as well.

Police are asking anyone with information about any of these cases to call 630-551-7300.
