A Joliet man has been arrested for hit and run and not having a valid driver's license after a one-car early morning crash.

Robert Larsen, 22, of Joliet, allegedly flipped his car near Plainfield and Schlapp roads a little after midnight June 10, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's office report.

When deputies arrived on the scene, Larsen was gone from the area, leaving his vehicle behind.

Larsen showed up to the Kendall County Sheriff's office at about 7 a.m. that morning to fill out an accident report. It then was discovered he was not in possession of a valid driver's license, the sheriff's office said.

Larsen was taken into custody without incident.
