What's Happening Thursday at PrairieFest

Jun 11, 2014 07:15PM ● Published by Steven Jack

Rock/pop band 7th Heaven take the Main State at PrairieFest Thursday night at 8:30.

Today is the opening day of the 2014 Oswegoland Park District PrairieFest. The weather forecast is a bit dicey with the National Weather Service calling for possible showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

However, if the rain should hold off, there's plenty of fun at the fest today. Check out these top picks:

FOR THE KIDDOS

ME TOO@PRAIRIEFEST From 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. families with children with special needs can enjoy the carnival as it opens early just for them with the Me Too@PrairieFest event. Families who require a modified experience can purchase an unlimited ride wristband for just $10.

WINDY CITY UNLIMITED RIDES WRISTBAND From 6 to 10 p.m. purchase an unlimited ride wristband for $20.

FOR THE GROWN-UPS
