Former Oswego Officer Sworn in at Sheriff's Department

Jody Brandis is the latest Kendall County Sheriff's Deputy.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new Deputy Sheriff to fill a vacant position in the Patrol Division.

Former Oswego Police Community Service Officer Jody Brandis was sworn in June 30 by Sheriff Richard A. Randall. Deputy Brandis will begin training at the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy at the College of Dupage on July 7 for the 12-week Basic Academy.

Upon successful completion of the academy, Deputy Brandis will be paired with an experienced field training officer, and will undergo a 12-week field training program. 

Deputy Brandis graduated from Aurora University with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice.
