School Parking Lot Donuts Lead to DUI Charges: Police

Jake Resh, 19, of Aurora, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor and not wearing a seat belt at about 12:20 a.m. July 5 at Route 34 and Ogden Falls Boulevard, according to an Oswego Police report.
Sinkhole at Eastview
Oswego Police are investigating a single-car accident that occurred at about 9 p.m. July 4 at Eastview School. According to police, the weight of a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old Aurora man created a small sinkhole at the school.
Daniel Michael, 18, of Leland, was charged with aggravated fleeing or attempt to allude the police at about 6 p.m. July 4 on Route 71 near Yorkville.. According to the Kendall County Sheriff's office, deputies attempted to pull Michael over for traffic violations on Route 25 in Oswego Township, and he led police on a chase until he was stopped near Yorkville. He was charged with fleeing and alluding police and several moving violations, the sheriff’s office said.
DUI, underage drinking
David Hejnar, 19, of Montgomery, was charged with DUI, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 1 a.m. July 5, according to an Oswego Police report. The charges were filed after a three-car accident near Routes 34 and 30. No one was injured in the accident.
Jordan McDowell, 22, of 112 Harbor Drive, Oswego Township, was charged with allowing her dog to run at large at about 2 a.m. July 4 near her home McDowell’s pit bull allegedly bit someone near her home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report.
Devin Rodriguez, 18, of Plano, was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 4:20 a.m. July 5 at Route 34 and Douglas Road, according to an Oswego Police report.
Oswego Police are investigating a garage burglary that took place sometime before 1:30 p.m. July 3 in the 100 block of Meadows Court. There was no information regarding the value of stolen items.
DUI charged after donuts in school parking lot
Stephen Progar, 21, of 218 Stonemill Lane and a 16-year-old Oswego boy both are facing DUI charges after police say they were doing donuts in the parking lot at Old Post School at about 7 p.m. July 2. Oswego Police Capt. Jeff Burgner said the pair were seen by several witnesses doing donuts in the parking lot. Shortly after, Progar drove the car from the school grounds and ran it up into a neighboring yard, Burgner said. He was charged with DUI, reckless driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage and leaving the scene of an accident. The 16-year-old was also charged with DUI.
