A four-car accident along Chicago Road during rush hour Wednesday afternoon sent two people to the hospital.
According to an Oswego Police report, a car driven by a 35-year-old Yorkville woman was traveling westbound on Chicago Road at Park Street at about 5:55 p.m. when it ran into the back of a stopped car driven by a 59-year-old Yorkville woman.
That car then hit the back of a car driven by a 34-year-old Plano woman which then hit a final vehicle driven by a 35-year-old Oswego man.
The driver of the first car was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and the drivers of the second and third cars were sent to Rush-Copley Medical Center for their injuries, according to Capt. Jeff Burger, Oswego Police spokesman .
