Police Looking for Man Wanted in Theft

Kendall County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man wanted in the May theft of money and jewelry from a home on Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill.

Michael Luis Chavez, 19, who once lived at the home, has been charged with theft, criminal trespass and violating a bail bond in connection with the theft, the sheriff's office said. Warrants were issued for his arrest June 14.

Deputies have not been able to find Chavez, and are asking for the public's help.

Callers can also contact Crimestoppers at (630) 553-5999. Callers can remain anonymous, and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 if information is received that leads to the arrest of the Chavez.
