Woman Stops Attempted Burglary: Police

Scott Goins, 47, of Montgomery, was charged with criminal damage to property at about 10:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 100 block of Tyler, Oswego Police said.
Kristina Lee, 28, of Romeoville, and Stefani Harker, 35, of Montgomery, were charged with retail theft at about 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at a store in the 2500 block of Route 34, according to Oswego Police. They are accused of attempting to steal $363 worth of merchandise, police said.
Nicole Devaugh, 31, of Aurora, was charged with retail theft at about 7:45 p.m. Sept. 6 at Walmart, according to Oswego Police. She is accused of attempting to steal $145 worth of merchadise, police said.
Michael Fernschuss, 22, of Somonauk, was charged with aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage to property at about 9:25 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 300 block of Monroe, according to Oswego Police. Fernschuss was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
A woman in the 500 block of Route 30, caught a juvenile in her home who was trying to steal items while she slept at about 9:20 a.m. Sept. 5, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. The juvenile was taken into custody by deputies and charged with residential burglary.
William Flaherty, 32, of 1015 S. River St., was charged with theft at about 8 p.m. Sept. 5 at Aldi, Oswego Police said. Flaherty was attempting to steal $40 in merchandise, police said.
Fight at OEHS
Two male juveniles from Oswego were charged with disorderly conduct at about 10:50 a.m. Sept. 5 after a fight at Oswego East High School, Oswego Police said.
Juan Gonzalez, 29, of the 100 block of Waterbury Circle, was charged with domestic battery, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession at about 7:20 p.m. Sept. 4 at his home, according to Oswego Police. He was taken to Kendall County Jail.
