Hobby Lobby Stores, a privately held national retail chain of craft & home decor stores, opens in Oswego with a ribbon cutting ceremony and official grand opening celebration at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6
The store is moving from 1971 W. Galena Blvd, Aurora, IL. Steven Ressler is the store manager of the new 55,000 square-foot Oswego store.
The store’s grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is open to the public. Local dignitaries, ambassadors from the Oswego Chamber of Commerce and other business leaders will attend the celebration.
“Our rationale for this move is to enhance our customers’ shopping experience by providing a wider and more abundant selection of merchandise. With the additional square footage, the new Hobby Lobby location will allow for expansion throughout the store,” stated John Schumacher, Assistant Vice President of Advertising.
