Thousands in Tires, Rims Stolen from Dealership: Police

Oswego Police are investigating the theft of four sets of tires and rims from four Chevrolet Tahoes or Suburbans sometime before 9 a.m. Sept. 20 at Ron Westphal Chevrolet at Routes 34 and 30. Loss is estimated at about $16,000 police said.
Brian Russell, 40, of 405 Kent Court, was charged with domestic battery at about 5 a.m. Sept. 21 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report.
Drug paraphernalia possession
Toi Cargile, 23, of Aurora was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and on an in-state warrant at about 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at Douglas and Old Post roads, according to an Oswego Police report.
Milton Jenkins, 25, of Glendale Heights, was charged with marijuana possession and disobeying of a traffic control device at about 11:50 p.m. Sept. 20 on Douglas Road near the AmercInn, according to an Oswego Police report.
Anthony Janito, 23, of Plainfield, was charged with DUI, resisting an officer and illegal transportation of alcohol at about 1:10 a.m. Sept. 21 at Route 34 and Pearces Ford Road, according to an Oswego Police report.
Raymond Hernandez, 48, of 401 Monroe, Oswego, was charged with DUI, fleeing and eluding and hit and run at about 11:15 p.m. Sept. 19 at Wilson and Madison streets, according to an Oswego Police report.
Car window broken
A resident in the 100 block of Circle Drive East, in Oswego Township, reported someone shattered a window on his vehicle sometime before 7:30 a.m. Sept. 19, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. The incident is still under investigation.
Luis Hernandez, 27, of Chicago, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage and no insurance at about 4:10 a.m. Sept. 19 at Route 71 and Douglas Street, according to an Oswego Police report.
Orlando Cuevas, 37, of 78 Hubbard Way, was charged with domestic battery at about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report.
Theft at gym
Oswego Police responded to LA Fitness at about 1:40 p.m. Sept. 17 for a theft. According to police, loss was estimated at about $50.
Glen Dieter, 47, of 200 Main St., Oswego, was charged with DUI-drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 7:50 p.m. Sept. 16 at Adams and Benton streets, according to an Oswego Police report.
Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies investigated a case of a neglected or abused child at about 11:10 p.m. Sept. 16 in the 0-99 block of Lyncliff in Bristol Township. No other details were available, and no charges were filed, the sheriff’s office said.
