Oswego School District 308 School Board President Seeking Re-Election

Oswego School District 308 Board President Bill Walsh announced Monday his candidacy for re-election.
Walsh has served one term on the School Board and was first elected in 2011.
"As the district moves forward to enhance the areas of curriculum and fiscal stewardship, we still face significant work and challenges," Walsh said in a statement. "However, I am excited and exceedingly proud of our district, the accomplishments to date, and the focus of the entire district team and community as we move together to achieve I will continue to make decisions and take actions to support the improvements of the district for all of our students, while always understanding and appreciating the impact every decision has on our students, district team and community members."
Walsh earned master's degrees in business administration and project management from the Keller Graduate School of Management in Downers Grove and a bachelor’s in business administration with minors in accounting and business law from Minnesota’s Winona State University.
Walsh is a senior procurement manager for the law firm of Sidley Austin LLP and previously worked for GE Capital.
