Adult Charged in Underage Drinking Party

After further investigation Sunday, Oswego Police arrested and charged Gesenia Cobb, 35, of the 800 block of Georgetown Drive, with contributing to the delinquency of a minor in connection with an early Sunday morning underage drinking party at the same address, according to a police news release.
Cobb was released after posting bond, police said.
"The Oswego Police Department is committed to ensuring the safety of our community and considers underage drinking a serious matter," the news release said.
Oswego Police arrested 45 juveniles and three 18-year-olds at an underage drinking party early Sunday morning.
According to Oswego Police Capt. Jeff Burgner, police were called to a home in the 800 block of Georgetown Drive in the Churchill Club subdivision at about 12:40 a.m. for a report of a loud party.
When police arrived they found several dozen teens were drinking. Forty five juveniles were charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, Burgner said, and were all released to their parents.
Zachary Prinz, 18, of Aurora; Ryan Egan, 18, of Aurora and Kent Lequire, 18 of Oswego were charged with unlawful possession and consumption of alcohol. They were released after posting bond, Burgner said.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
