A resident of the 300 block of Persimmon Lane reported his identity was stolen and used to steal about $3,000 from his bank account. The theft is alleged to have occurred Sept. 26 and was reported to Oswego Police at about 1 p.m. Oct. 25.
Robert Beasley, 41, of 109 Circle Drive West, was charged with speeding more than 36 mph over the posted speed limit at about 1:10 a.m. Oct. 24 after being stopped driving 70 mph down Boulder Hill Pass, which is a 30 mph speed zone, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report.
Angelica Alvarado, 37, of Aurora, was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing less than $500 worth of merchandise from the Oswego Kohl’s at about 9:30 p.m. Oct. 24, according to an Oswego Police report.
Contributing to the delinquency of a minor
Julio Moran, 40, of Aurora, was charged with retail theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor at about 7:20 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Oswego Walmart, according to Oswego Police. According to police reports, Moran had recruited his children to help him steal merchandise from the store.
Theft to a motor vehicle
Oswego Police are investigation a burglary to motor vehicle that occurred in the 0-99 block of Crofton Road sometime before 12:45 p.m. Oct. 22. A purse that contained about $240 and various credit cards was reported stolen, police said.
A male juvenile was charged with theft at Oswego High School on Oct. 22, according to Oswego Police. The theft was reported to have occurred on Oct. 20.
Felony retail theft
Terri Blume, 51, of 497 Waubonsee Circle, Oswego, was charged with felony retail theft at about 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Oswego Kohl’s, according to Oswego Police. She is alleged to have stolen about $359 worth of merchandise, police said.
