Several Charged with Drinking and Driving: Police

Retail theft

Charles Anderson, 47, of Aurora, was charged with retail theft at about 7:40 a.m. Nov. 2 at the Oswego Walmart, according to an Oswego Police report.

DUI

Ismael Medellin, 24, of Aurora, was charged with DUI and disobeying a traffic control device at about 1 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 0-99 block of Waterbury Circle, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Unlawful use of a weapon

Angel Huitron, 18, of Aurora, was charged with marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia possession and unlawful use of a weapon at about 11:40 p.m. Nov. 1 in the 900 block of Bison Court, according to an Oswego Police report. 

DUI

Alexander Savchuck, 42, of 370 Kensington Drive, Oswego, was charged with DUI and disobeying a stop sign at about 9 p.m. Nov. 1 at Fifth Street and Weisbrook Road, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Drinking at OEHS

Two female juveniles were charged with possession of alcohol by a minor at about 12:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego Police report. One of the girls also was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor. Another student, Demonica Wilder, 18, of Oswego, was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor at about the same time at the school, Oswego Police said.

DUI

Jared Blachard, 32, of the 0-99 block of Hampton Road in Boulder Hill, was charged with DUI at about 10:45 p.m. Oct. 30 after Kendall County Sheriff deputies found him asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle at a business in the 1300 block of Route 30, according to a sheriff’s office report. 

Domestic battery

Andrew Lee, 22, of 2008 Farmington Lakes Drive, was charged with domestic battery at about 9:20 p.m. Oct. 30 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Sale of alcohol to a minor

Jesus Delgado, 46, of Oswego, was charged with unlawful sale of alcohol to a minor on Oct. 29 at a business in the 100 block of Light Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. 

Wallet stolen from car

A resident in the 0-99 block of Charlotte reported the theft of a wallet from their car sometime before 6 a.m. Oct. 29, according to an Oswego Police report. The value of the stolen wallet is estimated at $199, police said.

Unlawful use of a weapon

Benjamin Andrews, 22, Yorkville, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 12:30 a.m. Oct. 28 at Heritage Drive and Route 34, according to an Oswego Police report.
