Oswego Man Charged with DUI After Accident: Police

Trespassing, marijuana possession
Nathaniel Garza, 19, of Aurora was charged with felony criminal trespass, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 7:10 p.m. Dec. 13 in the 0-99 block of Seton Creek Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. He was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
Retail theft, battery
Victor Windham, 22, of Aurora, was charged with retail theft, battery, obstructing identification, obstructing a police officer and trespassing at about 5:35 p.m. Dec. 12 at Walmart, according to an Oswego Police report.
Joseph Lloyd, 31, of Aurora, was charged with felony retail theft at about 7:20 p.m. Dec. 12 at Kohl’s, according to an Oswego Police report. He is alleged to have stolen about $280 worth of merchandise, police said.
Steven Meyer, 57, of the 0-99 block of Pleasant View Drive, Oswego, was charged with DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and disobeying a traffic control device at about 9:15 p.m. Dec. 11 near Orchard Road and Route 34, according to an Oswego Police report. A 42-year-old woman driving another vehicle was injured in the accident and taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center, police said.
Ivan Gariby, 20 of Aurora, was charged with retail theft and consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 1:40 a.m. Dec. 12 at Walmart, according to an Oswego Police report. The merchandise was valued at about $33.
Oswego Police are investigating the theft of a $400 generator from a business in the 0-99 block of Stonewall Road sometime before 11:30 a.m. Dec. 9
Endangering a child
Mayra Montoya, 27, of Montgomery, was charged with endangering the life of a child at about 11 p.m. Dec. 8 at Kohl’s, according to an Oswego Police report.
Rebecca Anderson, 42, of 31 Sonora Drive, Montgomery, was charged with domestic battery at about 3:20 p.m. Dec. 7 in her home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Anderson is alleged to have struck a male acquaintance in the face, the sheriff’s office said.
