Sunny June days are closer than you think!
Plans are already underway to make the annual PrairieFest the best yet. The festival, held over Father’s Day weekend each year is part block party, part family reunion, and all fun! Although organized by the Oswegoland Park District, it’s the community involvement that makes PrairieFest unique.
Organizations, agencies, and individuals are invited to get involved in the celebration June 18-21, 2015. Community participation in and support of PrairieFest continues to assure that our hometown festival is jam packed with events and activities that define us as a community.
Your group can help host the festival’s tag line, Living It Up Where We Live in 2015! Whether your organization would like to volunteer in an existing event like the parade or the 5K Race, or you would like to host your own, there is a place for everyone this June.
Let the Oswegoland Park District know your plans for PrairieFest 2015. Come with your ideas, dreams, and schemes to the PrairieFest Community Meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 at the Boulder Point Center, 0 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego.
Get your questions answered by members of the PrairieFest team and get help putting your ideas to work! Events officially registered through the Park District before April 1 benefit from festival marketing.
