Oswego LEGO League Teams Compete at State Level

On Saturday, Jan.17, two out of four Churchill Elementary School Lego League teams participated in the State Level competition at Elgin Community College in Elgin, Illinois.  

Stealth Bots won a State trophy for their research project. They also won 
a trophy at the local level for core values (teamwork, Cooperation®, and Gracious Professionalism®). TechnoFreaks also competed at the state level and finished 40th out of 64. They also won a Rookie award at the local level. Bionic Bashers and Mind Twisterz competed at the local level. 

First Lego League utilizes real world engineering challenges to stretch the minds of students by building LEGO-based robots to complete missions.  Churchill Lego teams were made possible by generous financial support from AHEAD, LLC, as well dedicated volunteer coaches and mentors, and the support of the Churchill Home and School Association.

AHEAD, LLC, is headquartered in Chicago with additional 
offices in Wisconsin, Michigan and Iowa.  AHEAD serves 400 plus enterprise clients in healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, legal, retail and other industries in various areas of the world.
