Oswego Store Hit with $1,100 Theft

DUI 

Jonathan Aceret, 22, of Aurora, was charged with DUI at about 2 a.m. Feb. 7 near Douglas and Long Beach roads, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. He was originally pulled over for an equipment violation on his vehicle and speeding, the sheriff’s office said.

Domestic battery

Matthew Taylor, 20, of 23 S Bereman Road, Oswego Township, was charged with domestic battery at about 9:50 a.m. Feb. 4 at his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. He was also charged with interfering with the report of a domestic battery, she sheriff’s office said.

More perfume stolen from Ulta

Oswego Police are investigating the theft of about $1,100 in perfume from the Oswego Ulta store sometime before 10 a.m. Feb. 4.  There are no suspects in the case, police said. The store also was the victim of hundreds of dollars of perfume theft in December.

Domestic battery

Daniel Bayon, 19, of 404 Blueridge Drive, was charged with domestic battery at about 4 p.m. Feb. 3 in the 0 to 99 block of Clay Court, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report.

Pot possession

Otniel Lazaro-Acosta, 19, of Aurora, was charged with marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession at about 9:50 p.m. Feb 3 near Sonora Drive and Long Beach Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Lazaro-Acosta was originally pulled over for talking on his mobile phone while driving, the sheriff’s office said.

Wallet stolen from gym

A member of the Oswego LA Fitness had his wallet stolen from a locker at the gym at about 5:40 p.m. Feb. 2, according to an Oswego Police report. The wallet and its contents were valued at about $60, police said.

Village snow plow accident

A village of Oswego snow plow collided with a vehicle driven by an Oswego man at about 5 p.m.  Feb. 1 near Versailles Parkway and Bonaventure Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. No injuries were reported.
