Isabella Delgado used her allowance to send Girl Scout cookies to military members.
School: Old Post Elementary School
What makes her a Kid Who Cares: Isabella Delgado plays soccer for the Panther soccer U8 Navy team and is a Brownie in a local Girl Scout Troop.
Isabella came up with the idea of taking donated cookies from her Troops' sales and sending them to the military either through family members or an organization that would mail the cookies to military members.
After approaching her mom, her mom emailed Troop leaders the idea. After not being able to make the project happen through the Troop, Isabella refused to give up and still wanted to find a way to make it happen.
She and her mother decided they would buy cookies with their own money and send the cookies to family members serving our country. Isabella even used her own allowance money to purchase additional cookies. In all, Isabella mailed out more than 10 boxes to family members serving in the military.
