Cash Stolen in Oswego Burglary: Police

DUI

Jose Hernandez, 28, of Aurora, was arrested for DUI at about 3:15 a.m. March 8 near Century Drive and Route 31, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Marijuana possession

Denzel Rounds, 18, of Montgomery, was arrested for marijuana possession at about 2:30 a.m. March 7 at Route 30 and Briarcliff, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Damage to property

A resident of the 0-99 block of Sonora Drive reported someone broke out the rear window of his vehicle sometime before 11:15 a.m. March 6, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Deputies collected an empty beer bottle from inside the car as evidence. 

Generator stolen

Oswego Police are investigating the theft of a generator from a business in the 100 block of Kendall Point Drive sometime before 1:40 p.m. March 5. The generator is valued at about $1,500.

Domestic battery

Genaro Zavala, 28, of Plainfield, was arrested for domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of a domestic battery, obstructing a police officer and aggravated resisting arrest at about 3:50 a.m. March 5 in the 2000 block of Weisbrook Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. He was taken to the Kendall County Jail. 

DUI

Coleton Mastick, 21, of Aurora, was arrested for DUI at about 2:30 a.m. March 5 at Route 30 and Treasure Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Pot possession

Alexandra Wise, 25, of Montgomery, was arrested for marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 5:10 a.m. March 4 in the 500 block of Sudbury Circle, according to an Oswego Police report.

Cash stolen in burglary

Oswego Police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred sometime before 10:45 a.m. March 3 in the 0-99 block of Madison Street. According to police, about $200 in cash was reported stolen.

Intent to deliver pot

A 17-year-old Montgomery man was arrested for intent to deliver marijuana more than 10 grams and less than 30 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by a minor at about 3:45 p.m. March 2 at Route 25 and Glendale, according to an Oswego Police report.  

Pot possession

Brandon Rodriguez, 18, of Montgomery, and Nicholas Milke, 20 of Naperville, were both arrested for marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession at about 4:30 a.m. March 1 in the 2800 block of Route 34, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Knife at school

Joshua Govan, 18, of Oswego, was arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon at about 2 p.m. Feb. 27 at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego Police report. Govan allegedly brought a knife to school, police said. 

Digital cameras stolen

Oswego Police are investigating the theft of several digital cameras from Walmart sometime before 9 p.m. Feb. 27. The cameras are valued at about $1,225.
