Oswegoland Park District Readies for Easter Events

Now that the light is at the end of the winter tunnel, there is word Spring in on its way. The Oswegoland Park District is kicking off spring break weekend with two annual events.
The Easter Bunny is hopping over to Fox Bend Golf Course on the morning of Wednesday, March 25tto visit with the little ones for the Bitty Bunny Brunch. Grab a bitty bite with the bunny and then head out for the Fox Bend egg hunt. The bunny enjoys sharing his mid morning snack with some of his biggest fans. All the kiddos will enjoy candy-filled eggs and a pretty basket to collect them in.
This event offers the perfect photo-op with the Bunny. Everyone who attends must register. This meet and greet will happen rain or shine. Registration ends March 20. The Bitty Bunny Brunch is $15 for Oswegoland Park District residents and $20 for Non-residents.
On Friday, March 27, school-aged kids will celebrate their upcoming break from school at the Flashlight Egg Hunt held at Fox Chase Elementary and Wormley Heritage Park. Once the sun has set, kids will embark on a search for Easter eggs with only the beam from their flashlight. Select eggs are designated as big winners with prizes that include scooters, DVD players, stuffed animals and games. Everyone walks away a winner though and receives a goody bag filled with candy, prizes, and rewards from area restaurants. Interested egg hunters are encouraged to remember their flashlight and dress for the weather.
This egg hunt happens rain or moonshine. A limited number of 250 participants will receive their egg hunter’s license at check in from 6:45 – 7:10pm. Registration ends March 26th at 4:30. The Egg Hunt fee for Oswegoland Park District residents is $7, $9 for Non-Residents.
