A town home in unincorporated Oswego Township was heavily damaged by fire Tuesday afternoon.

According to a news release from the Oswego Fire Protection District, firefighters were called to the end unit of a five-unit town home building at 59 Fall Creek Circle at about 3 p.m. for a structure fire. Upon arriving, firefighters found the home to be "well-involved" in fire.

A search of the home found that no one was home at the time, and the fire was brought under control in about 25 minutes, the fire district said. No other homes were damaged, but the next door unit was evacuated as a precaution, according to Battalion Chief Jeff Warren.

No injuries were reported, and damages to the building are estimated at $125,000.
