ORIGINAL STORY

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a man who may have tried to lure a 10-year-old child into his car in Boulder Hill Monday.

At about 6:50 p.m. deputies were called regarding the incident that had occurred in the 100 block of Saugatuck Road. A boy was walking in the area when a man approached him and told him to get into his car. Refusing, the boy ran away.  The car left the area heading west on Saugatuck, the sheriff's office said.

The man was described as white, late 30s to early 40s, brown hair and brown eyes. The vehicle is described as a dark green Suburban or Tahoe with partial license plate of "24H." The boy said the vehicle also had a broken driver's side mirror.
