The voices of the stakeholders in the decisions that affect the education of our children are being ignored. Best practices and research are put aside so that this administration can follow their own agenda. You may not have realized that this is happening, or you might have encountered only one area where this is true;if you are unlucky enough to be on the opposing side of this administration and Board of Education agenda, it has become glaringly obvious that the precluding statement is true.
On April 7th, we will once again have the opportunity to shift the course of SD308 and to reestablish our right to be the voice for our children. Our voice and the voice of the experts should be heard!
We can not afford anymore arbitrary decisions that are not based in current research and best practices to elevate the feeling of importance of a few people. Lets take this opportunity to go out and vote to replace the current Board of Education; because the other option is to scary to contemplate.
