Two Hospitalized After Fight in Oswego

Apr 13, 2015 04:31PM ● Published by Steven Jack

Two people have been hospitalized after a fight broke out near the 7-Eleven store at Douglas Road and Fernwood Monday afternoon.

According to Oswego Police Chief Jeff Burgner, officers were called to the scene at about 3:27 p.m. for a report of a fight in progress. When police arrived the fight had ended, and one car had left the scene. Police were able to locate the vehicle a short distance away, police said.

Four or five people were involved, but there is no indication of weapons being used, Burgner said. The fight is related to earlier police activity that took place in Boulder Hill, confirmed Kendall County Sheriff Dwight Baird.

Oswego Police have not made any arrests at this point, but the investigation is ongoing, Burgner said.
