A local man recently arrested on several charges out of Aurora is facing more charges in Oswego.

Karlon Hudson, 45, of the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass, who had been charged in Aurora with five counts of unlawful use of a credit card and felony theft in connection with several incidents dating back to late January, also has been charged with felony retail theft and burglary in two separate incidents in Oswego, police said.

Oswego Police allege Hudson was involved in a car break-in in the 4000 block of Route 71 on March 13 and a March 14 theft from the Oswego Walmart. At the time of the Aurora charges, Hudson was already in Oswego Police custody for the Walmart theft.

Hudson was originally identified as a suspect in the Aurora cases after Aurora Police posted surveillance photos on their Facebook page of him using a stolen credit card to withdraw money from a convenience store ATM in Aurora. An Oswego woman recognized Hudson and provided information to police that led to his identity.

Aurora Police
also arrested him for burglary and felony theft in connection with a Jan. 24 break-in at an Aurora business in the 1300 block of Marshall Boulevard. Over $3,700 in tools and electronics were stolen in that incident, police said.

Oswego Police said even more charges could be forthcoming against Hudson.
