The Gear It Forward Robotics: Oswego 2338 team received quite the welcome home Sunday afternoon from the World Championship tournament in St. Louis.

The team caravan of two school buses and several vehicles were led through town by a police escort to a couple of dozen supporters waiting in the OHS parking lot. OHS Principal Mike Wayne and OEHS Interim Principal Craig Watson were both hand to greet the team.

Team Gear it Forward took fourth place in the world Saturday after winning their division, which g
uaranteed a top-8 finish.

The team came in second place earlier this month at the FRC Midwest Regional Competition in Chicago. At that tournament they also received the prestigious Chairman's Award.
