Man Chokes Woman, Breaks Car Windows: Police

Domestic battery

Arsenio Tillis, 25, of the 2800 block of Light Road, was arrested for domestic battery and criminal damage to property after allegedly choking a female acquaintance and smashing the windows of her car about 11 a.m. April 25 at his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. 

Windows broken

A resident in the 0-99 block of Seneca Drive, Oswego Township, reported someone she knows broke out the windows of her car while it was parked at her home sometime before 11:30 a.m. April 25, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. 

DUI

Ernest Florence, 61, of 113 Circle Drive West, in Oswego Township, was arrested for DUI at about 9 p.m. April 24 near Douglas and Saugatuck, according to a Kendall County Sherri’s Office report. 

Marijuana possession at junior high

A 14-year-old boy was arrested for marijuana possession at about 3:45 p.m. April 24 at Traughber Junior High School, according to an Oswego Police report. The boy is alleged to have possessed less than 2.5 grams.

Theft at high school

A 15-year-old Aurora boy was arrested for theft at about 12:45 p.m. April 23 at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego Police report. The value of the stolen item is about $200.

DUI

Guy Qualls, 20, of 679 Manhattan Circle, was arrested for DUI at about 9:50 p.m. at his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were advised by a caller that Qualls had been involved in a hit and run crash near Routes 30 and 34. Qualls continued driving to his home and parked in the yard, the sheriff’s office said. He was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center for treatment and arrested upon his release. 

Domestic battery

Drew Anderson, 26, of 303 Barnaby, was arrested for domestic battery at about 12:30 a.m. April 19 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report.  

Marijuana possession

Cari Nicklas, 23, of Aurora, and David Ewalt, 23, of Oswego, were both arrested for marijuana possession and paraphernalia possession at about 7 p.m. April 18 in the 400 block of Treasure Drive, according to an Oswego Police report.
