Windows shot with BBs
A resident in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East reported someone shot two windows of his home with BBs sometime before 11:20 a.m. May 3, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Damage is estimated at about $300. A resident in the 100 block of Harbor also reported a window damaged by BBs the same day, the sheriff's office said.
Valerie Weaver, 24, of 3419 Orchard Road, was arrested for retail theft, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 3:50 p.m. May 2 in the 3000 block of Orchard Road, according to an Oswego Police report.
DUI, hit and run
Patricia Kras, 60, of Oswego, was arrested for DUI, hit and run and other charges after allegedly being involved in a hit and run accident at about 8:30 p.m. May 1, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Kras allegedly rear-ended a driver earlier in the evening and was later found at her home, the sheriff’s office said.
Park District bus entered
The Oswegoland Park District reported someone unlawfully entered one of their child transportation buses parked at Fox Chase School sometime before 7 a.m. May 1. No damage or missing items were reported, police said.
Jacquelin Noto, 28, was arrested for domestic battery at about 7 p.m. April 30 in the 200 block of Washington Street, according to an Oswego Police report. She was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
Juan Lopez, 25, of Chicago, was arrested for felony retail theft at about 9:20 p.m. April 30 at Walmart, according to an Oswego Police report. Value of the times taken was about $429, police said. He was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
A resident in the 300 block of Bluegrass Parkway reported a vehicle was broken into sometime overnight April 30, according to an Oswego Police report. About $10 cash was reported stolen from the resident’s wallet.
Paul Coronado, 24, fo Montgomery, was arrested for possessing more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 1 a.m. April 29 near Hill Avenue and Goodwin, according to an Oswego Police report.
A resident in the 700 block of Poplar Court reported someone broke into an unlocked vehicle overnight April 28 and stole a GPS unit, according to an Oswego Police report. Value of the item is estimated at about $200.
Oswego Police took a report at about 10:15 a.m. April 29 for someone who had spray-painted graffiti on the skate and park equipment at Chesterfield Park.
Retail theft, underage alcohol possession
Oswego Police arrested a female juvenile at about 5:40 p.m. April 29 at Walmart for retail theft and possession of alcohol by a minor.
Purse stolen during vehicle break-in
An elderly Yorkville woman had her purse stolen from her car while it was parked at Prairie Point Park at about 10 a.m. April 27, according to an Oswego Police report. The value of the stolen purse and its contents is unknown, police said.
