Child Riding Bike Hospitalized After Struck by Car: Police

A 13-year-old was struck by a car while riding a bike at about 3 p.m. May 9 at Grove Road and Washington Street, according to an Oswego Police report. The teen was injured and was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for treatment, police said.
A resident on Bickford Avenue reported that someone who was staying with them from out of the country was scammed out of $2,500 through an Ebay purchase. The loss was reported to Oswego Police at about 3:20 p.m. May 9.
Kevin Hubbard, 51 and Marsha Debossschere, 53, both of 20 Wyndham, Oswego Township, were arrested for domestic battery at about 3 a.m. May 8, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
Jarrett Neurman, 19, of 204 Thornbury, Oswego, was arrested for unlawful possession of alcohol and retail theft at about 10:15 p.m. May 7 at the Oswego Walmart, according to an Oswego Police report.
Richard Langley, 36, of 215 W. Washington St., Oswego, was arrested for domestic battery at about 11 p.m. May 7 near his home, according to an Oswego Police report. He was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
Kevin Zeiger, 47, of 34 Seneca Drive, Oswego Township, was arrested for domestic battery at about 9:35 p.m. May 5 at his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
Karon Washington, 18, of the 100 block of Eisenhower, Oswego was arrested for marijuana possession at about 11:40 p.m. May 5 at Scoreboards, according to an Oswego Police report. In addition, Jacob Buroff, 18, of Montgomery, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a juvenile also was charged with pot possession.
Kevin Ode, 37, of 112 Linden Drive Oswego, was arrested for DUI and domestic battery at about 10:45 p.m. May 4 near his home, according to an Oswego Police report. He was taken to the Kendall County Jail.
