“Ms. Mecklenburg is an experienced leader who will bring a lot to the Brokaw and School District 308 communities,” Associate Superintendent for Administrative Services Dr. John Sparlin said. “We are very pleased to have her as part of the team.”

Mecklenburg has served as assistant principal for Hinckley Big Rock High School in Hinckley, Ill. since 2013. Prior to that, she taught at Hinckley Big-Rock, as well as several other Illinois and Missouri Schools.

She has a bachelor’s degree from Quincy University and a master’s degree from William Woods University, Fulton, Mo.
