Rounding out its 2015 CabCab season, ArranmoreArts is paying homage to 9/11 with a Cabernet Cabaret concert entitled “Heroes” at Arranmore Farm & Polo Club, which will honor heroes from all walks of life, from parents and teachers to superheroes and veterans.
“When you think of 9/11, our military heroes definitely come to mind,” says ArranmoreArts Artistic Director, Lara Filip. “We wanted to honor them and all of the heroes in our lives—moms, dads, teachers, artists, civil rights leaders, of course, our veterans, and anyone who is out there, fighting the good fight.”
Doors open at 6:30pm and the show begins at 8 pm. Tickets are $20 online through September 9 and $30 online and at the gate afterward. The line-up features Filip along with past favorites including Adrian Aguilar, Brianna Borger, Doug Pawlik, Adam Michaels, Keely Vasquez, Sawyer Smith, Felicia Burkovsky and Jeani Filip.
As always, patrons are encouraged to B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Party), whether they make it a cocktail party with friends, an intimate dinner for two or just an excuse to get out with neighbors. All are invited to bring their own spread of food and drink, chairs and blankets, and choose a spot on the perfectly manicured lawn. Wine and Craft Beer will be available for purchase.
