Oswego Man Dead After Apparent Stabbing in Plano

An Oswego man is dead after apparently being stabbed early Friday morning in Plano.

According to a report from WSPY, Andrew Erickson, 22, of River View Court, was found lying in the 4200 block of Cummins Street after being stabbed several times at about 4 a.m.. He was pronounced dead after the arrival of Little Rock Fox paramedics. 

WSPY reports that a nearby resident and Erickson's girlfriend both attempted life-saving measures. 

Plano Police say there are suspects in the incident, but WSPY could not confirm whether they are in custody. Police said there is no threat to the public.

The Kendall County Coroner's Office was to conduct an autopsy Friday afternoon, and the Kendall County Major Crimes Task Force and the Illinois State Police are aiding in the investigation, WSPY reported.
