Oswego Fall Reuse and Recycling Extravaganza Happening Today

Recycle what you don't need at the ECO Commission Reuse & Recycle Extravaganza. The event is today until 2 p.m. at the Oswego Public Works Facility, 100 Theodore Dr.

Accepted are bicycles, books, clothing, electronics, eyeglasses, keys, lawn mowers, LCD/LED/Plasma televisions, packing materials, scrap metal, school supplies, suitcases, toys and more! You can also exchange used books, videotapes, CDs and DVDs.

Please note that tube televisions and latex paints will not be accepted this year. Antifreeze and motor oil will be accepted at Keith’s Car Care, located at 78 Stone Hill Rd. Oswego, at no cost.

This event is made possible with the help of wonderful volunteers. To volunteer, please call 630.554.3622 or email at eco@oswegoil.org. Volunteers should be middle school age and older.
