Hitting a sheriff's deputy
Kari McBride, 32, of the 0-99 block of Old Post Road, was arrested at about 10:25 p.m. Sept. 13 for resisting arrest and aggravated battery of a police officer after striking a Kendall County Sheriff's deputy during a domestic battery call in the 0-99 block of Woodcliff Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
Two juveniles, one male and one female, were arrested for underage possession of alcohol at about 2:45 a.m. Sept 12 in the 100 block of Alexander Court, according to an Oswego Police report. The male was also arrested for consumption of alcohol and the female was also arrested for presenting a false ID to police.
Business broken into
Oswego Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the Route 30 LA Tan sometime before 8 a.m. Sept. 12. About $200 was stolen in the burglary, police said. There are currently no suspects in the case, police said.
House window shattered
A resident in the 0-99 block of Ottawa Court, Oswego Township reported to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office that someone threw a rock through a window of the home at about 9:50 p.m. Sept. 11. There are no suspects the sheriff's office said.
Kenneth Rogers, 44, of the 0-99 block of Clay Court, Oswego Township, was arrested for domestic battery and assault at about 11:40 p.m. Sept. 11 at his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Rogers allegedly grabbed a female acquaintance and caused her to fall, and attempted to kick a child. Rogers was also wanted on several warrants, the sheriff's office said.
Car window shattered
A resident in the 300 block of Boulder Hill Pass reported to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office that someone broke out the rear window of his minivan sometime before 7:20 a.m. Sept. 10. Damage is estimated at $300.
Geoffrey Woods, 22, of Plano, was arrested for battery at about 9 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 1000 block of Douglas Road, according to an Oswego Police report.
Felony drug possession
Jacob Cozzi, 19, of Plainfield was arrested for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and felony marijuana possession at about 9 p.m. Sept. 8 near Washington and Faro, according to an Oswego Police report. Francis Keske, 19, also of Plainfield, was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Oswego Police reported that they issued 169 seat belt violations during their most recent enforcement campaign. Police conducted 22 saturation patrols and nine seat belt enforcement zones between Aug. 24 and Sept. 7.
Rock through window
A homeowner in the 0-99 block of Cayman Drive, Oswego Township. reported that someone threw a rock through a window of the home sometime before 4:30 p.m. Sept. 5, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. There are no suspects in the case.
A resident in the 600 block of Mansfield Drive sought treatment at Rush-Copley Medical Center after a reported dog bite at about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3, according to an Oswego Police report. The dog belonged to a friend of the man, and was current on all shots, police said. The dog underwent the mandatory 10-day quarantine, police said.
