Man Arrested After Stealing Car: Police

Michael Fivecoat, 25, of Yorkville, was arrested at about 2:30 a.m. Oct. 4 near Route 30 and Briarcliff for possession of marijuana of greater than 2.5 grams but less than 10 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without insurance, according to an Oswego Police report.
Nathan Birtell, 29, of Montgomery, was arrested for retail theft at about 3 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Oswego Kohl's store, according to an Oswego Police report. He is alleged to have stolen about $340 in merchandise, police said.
A 17-year-old male juvenile was arrested for domestic battery at about 1:45 p.m Oct. 3 at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego Police report. The juvenile is alleged to have pushed his girlfriend, police said.
A 16-year-old boy was cited for speeding 35 mph over the posted speed limit at about 6:30 a.m. Oct. 2 near Bluegrass Parkway and Bonaventure, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. The juvenile was transported to the sheriff's office for processing.
Oswego Police arrested Johnathon Garcia, 25, of Montgomery for possession of a stolen vehicle at about 7:15 p.m. Oct. 1 near Route 34 and Chicago Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. The sheriff's office said the incident started in the 200 block of Route 31 when Garcia attempted to enter one vehicle in the area, and then entered another and drove off. Oswego Police later caught up with Garcia near the Route 34 Walgreens, and he was taken into custody. He also faces criminal trespass and theft charges, the sheriff's office said.
Theft to vehicles
A resident in the 300 block of Ogden Falls Boulevard reported someone broke into their vehicle sometime before 8:20 p.m. Sept. 30 and removed about $1,000 worth of items, according to an Oswego Police report. Another resident in the area also reported a car break in in which about $160 worth of property was stolen.
A resident in the 0-99 block of Primrose Lane reported that someone broke into the home sometime before 3:20 p.m. Sept. 30 and stole about $2,500 in electronics, according to an Oswego Police report. Police are investigating the case, and there are no suspects.
A resident in the 100 block of Longbeach Road reported someone broke into the home sometime before 5 p.m. Sept. 29 and took several items of minimal value, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. There are no suspects in the case.
A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested at about 1 p.m Sept. 29 for stealing the backpack of another student at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego Police report.
James Dudley, 30, of Aurora, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at about 1 a.m. Sept. 29 near Bower and Preston lanes, according to an Oswego Police report.
