Oct 07, 2015 03:53PM ● Published by Steven Jack

Hall of Fame trainer Tom Wehrli and his world-class Frisbee Dogs will be at the fest again this year.

Look no further than Hoover Forest Preserve for free family fun at the Forest Foundation of Kendall County’s Annual Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct 10.

Animal encounters and educational presentations from Incredible Bats and Big Run Wolf Ranch will highlight the day filled with music, interactive activities, nature-inspired crafts, a scavenger hunt, raffles and more.

Families will get an up-close opportunity to see Egyptian Fruit Bats and learn the many benefits of one of the world’s most amazing, misunderstood and feared creatures. You will also meet Big Run Wolf Ranch’s featured North American wildlife rescues: Sitka the wolf pup, Penelope the porcupine, Pecos the coyote, Kirby the skunk and Hal the groundhog.
